Mechanical Bi-Di Pig

A Mechanical pig comprises major main parts those are the Polyurethane Discs, Polyurethane Cups and the Metal Body that could be equipped with a lot of accessories based on the function the pig is required to achieve. Bi-Directional Standard Batching Pig comprises of Polyurethane Sealing, Guiding and Spacer discs those could be in minimum count of 2 x Guiding Discs, 4 x Sealing Discs and Spacers. A Uni Directional Mechanical Pig it counts in minimum 2 x Standard Polyurethane Cups. These arrangements and counts of either discs or cups would be different based on the real activity the pig is required to achieve, the pipeline length and the changes of either the diameter or the thickness. The Discs, Cups and accessories are mounted on a steel body tube that is held in position by metallic flanges and are designed in such a manner that they can be re-used several times by only replacing the components. MEM’s metal bodies are fabricated by experienced firms using the highest standards of Steel. The bodies are tested and checked as per the international standards then the process of assembly for all the components and accessories starts.
