Foam Pigs

General Information

The company’s versatile Foam Pigs range can be used for pipeline scraping, cleaning, gauging, filling and drying ensuring the best performance. Made of lightweight open cell polyurethane foam, foam pigs can be coated and adapted for best tracking. These pigs are constructed of light, medium and heavy density polyurethane foam. They are  constructed from an open-cell polyurethane foam with cylinder shape that can be coated with polyurethane based coating for more durability and can be customized to accommodate an assortment of situations. The following reveals the most popular styles available, however, any conceivable configuration can be manufactured.

Features

  • Mainly 4 standard densities, Low Density (1.5-2lb/Cu.ft), Medium Density (5-7lb/Cu.ft), Heavy Density (8-10lb/Cu.ft) and Extra Heavy (20lb/Cu.ft). 
  • The basic design consists of a flexible, bullet shaped polyurethane ‘Bare’ foam cylinder, Fully Coated, Criss-Cross, Silicone Carbide and both Wire & Nylon Brush designs.
  •  Transmitter cavities, tow loops, gauge plates and encapsulated magnets can be incorporated for pig tracking applications. 
  • Dual diameter foams available upon request. 
  • Sizes range from 1/2” to 90”.
